connect.media: Stos Expands Institutional-Focused Investment Platform; Adds Jay Boyle to Lead
San Diego-based Stos Partners launched a new investment initiative focused on institutional investors. The venture will augment the company’s existing private capital investment platform, which has completed more than $280 million in commercial property deals over the past 12 months.
Stos Partners’ CJ Stos says, “Growing our platform to more institutional capital, and expanding our geographic footprint, is the natural next step in our company’s growth.”
Commercial real estate veteran Jay Boyle was added to spearhead this initiative. Stos notes, Boyle’s “deep transactional knowledge and strong institutional ties” are expected to enable Stos “to develop stronger capital relationships in the industry, which will be pivotal in our firm’s continued expansion.”
Boyle brings more than a decade of transactional experience, as well as five years as a principal. He’s served at Locale Advisors, overseeing all acquisition, financing, disposition, and joint-venture activities. Previously, he held roles at Eastdil Secured, and Cushman and Wakefield.
